Deborah and Marie have returned from a quick visit to the California desert. Or, to be more specific, we went to the Parisbas Open at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden where we watched 3 full days of top notch tennis. Saw Federer win a couple matches, Nadal win at singles (before his loss in the semi-final) and doubles - what a treat! Began to appreciate Andy Roddick and Andy Murray more, and understand why watching Zvonareva can be like watching paint dry... Marie's current favorite is the young Dane, Caroline Wosniacki, and I want to see what Sam Stosur can do this year. A great trip - happy to go and happy to be back home. Any other tennis fans among our guests?
